And just as Lugosi pulled the puppet strings, Cheney does in the B Movie that is George W. Bush’s White House.

In fact ventriloquism is one of Cheney’s party tricks. It is a little known fact that he can recite the writings of Heinrich Himmler whilst drinking a bottle of water.

Let’s face it, when an aging loved one clings stubbornly to beliefs that fly in the face of reality, we’re inclined to look the other way, to make excuses, to quietly cover up the problem.

I have to admit, many of the smug, dumb smiles that Cheney produces behind Bush support that view of someone going senile. Cheney was the main force behind the policy to invade Iraq and is still convinced that there are weapons of mass destruction somewhere hidden under the sand. Well, my grandmother began to think that my dad was a polar explorer and when this happened we realised it was time for medical help. Perhaps it is time for the men in white coats to turn up at The White House and take the Vice President for a nice long holiday in Florida.

The evidence isn’t good for Cheney. A few months ago he was caught impersonating Elmer Fudd with a Supreme Court Justice going duck hunting. And whereas Elmer has a fixation with “De wabbit”, so Cheney has it in for poor old Saddam. Who would bet against the next Republican administration allowing Saddam to escape so that they go after him again! Even when he wasn’t in power, Cheney and Saddam were getting along just fine. As CEO of Haliburton, Cheney claimed that he supported the U.S. sanctions on Iraq, but the Financial Times of London reported that through foreign subsidiaries and affiliates, Halliburton became the biggest oil contractor for Iraq, selling more than $73 million in goods and services to Saddam Hussein’s regime.

Awwwwww, isn’t a shame when two old pals start fighting.

War has always been a favorite game of Cheney’s. Whereas the President’s military record has been dragged through the press, Uncle Dick’s has been strangely ignored. Cheney wanted desperately to serve in the war in Vietnam, but sadly he had more important things to do. Men like Cheney long ago fought the ghost of Vietnam. According to his wife, he still has flash backs when he sees John Kerry. She said, “Dick gets flashbacks every now and then, and he gets flash forwards when our eldest daughter comes home with her lesbian lover.” Vice President Dick Cheney is a Dick that all America can be proud of!

Vice President Dick Cheney doesn’t need to have medals hanging around his neck, like John Kerry! Cheney has the balls the size of walnuts when it comes to fighting in war! It takes a brave man to stand back and send others to do the fighting! But Cheney is getting good at it.
